Happy Childhood
The Happy Childhood Program was initiated by Father Ramón Dubert in 2000, driven by his concern for the vulnerability and malnutrition of children living in impoverished neighborhoods in Santiago.
The program operates six children's dining halls, each serving 20 children, and two preschools, collectively supporting 320 children with: value formation, comprehensive health care, balanced nutrition, development of creative and motor skills, and guidance for parents and guardians.
Our Goal
We aim to support vulnerable children in their holistic development—physically, emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually—enabling them to grow into men and women who make positive contributions to society.

The Happy Childhood Program provides children with:

- Development of Creative, Artistic, and Interpersonal Skills
Additionally, the program organizes cultural and recreational activities and fosters family integration.
Program Sustainability
The program is sustained through the generous support of sponsors who contribute a monthly fee of RD$1,500, as well as donations of materials and supplies. Volunteers also contribute their time and talents.
The program collaborates with public and private institutions, hosts fundraising activities, and recruits new volunteers.
