Environmental Program of Cáritas
The environment depends on our collective actions and will be shaped by the measures we take today. That is why Cáritas works to raise awareness in communities and society at large, contributing to environmental protection and the conservation of natural resources so that present and future generations can enjoy well-being.
Our Objective
Our goal is to raise awareness among vulnerable families and society as a whole about the importance of protecting the biodiversity that surrounds them, encouraging them to commit to actions that contribute to ecological, economic, and social development.
Our Actions
- Educating children in the care and love for the earth and natural resources through Cáritas' greenhouse.
- Giving talks on environmental care to families, children, and youth participating in our projects.
- Offering recycling courses and exhibitions.
- Participating in activities that advocate for environmental protection and the care of natural resources.
The Sustainable Environment Program is aimed at the communities where Cáritas has a presence, our staff and volunteers, and society at large.
Our Resources
Our resources come through project proposals for environmental care, partnerships with institutions working on the issue, donations, and more.
