Entrepreneurship and Creation Program
This program works with Community Groups across the entire Archdiocese of Santiago (Santiago Province and Espaillat Province), aiming to strengthen them through training, mentorship, and identifying entrepreneurial individuals within these groups. These individuals may have a business idea they wish to bring to life or a micro-business they want to enhance.
The program originated in 2005 with the support of Cáritas Española, under the name “Microcredit Project for Entrepreneurs.”
Our Objective
We aim to foster processes that support and strengthen community organizations through training and mentorship. We provide their members with advisory services, technical tools, and financial resources to create self-sustainable businesses. Additionally, we encourage them to engage in solidarity actions to improve the quality of life for their families, community groups, and broader communities.

Our Resources
We obtain resources through project proposals, inter-institutional agreements, collaborations with public and private institutions, and other partnerships.
Community Group Identification
- Through voluntary outreach by groups to the project.
- By referrals from other individuals or groups.
- Through recommendations from allied or Cáritas-affiliated institutions.
- Via recommendations from Parish Councils in the communities.
